Download and resolution
Downloading a completed, available result does not deduct extra credits. Resolution is chosen before generation and included in its quote. There is no separate paid HD export option in the current editor.
Upload your video, choose your edit, and see the cost before generating.
Yes, through different routes. The official Higgsfield API uses its own prepaid US-dollar balance without a website subscription; its catalog includes Genjutsu Object Swap and Motion Transfer. Website credit packs follow different rules and require an active subscription to purchase.
Genjutsu AI is an independent alternative with a browser editor and standalone credit packs. You do not need an active subscription to buy a pack or use its credits. We do not claim to use the official Genjutsu model. No monthly fee does not mean free generation.
Your source video and reference photos appear here after selection. Task progress and results will appear below.
Original clips and effect examples from Higgsfield, shown as references. Generation uses the original and your photo; results may vary.
Choose the official API if you specifically need the Genjutsu endpoints and can work with an API. Choose Genjutsu AI if you want to prepare an edit in a browser and buy standalone credits. Accounts, balances, billing and support are separate; similar editing tasks do not establish model or output equivalence.
| What to check | Higgsfield website | Official Higgsfield API | Genjutsu AI |
|---|---|---|---|
| Subscription requirement | An active subscription is required to purchase extra credit packs. | No website subscription required. Separate prepaid US-dollar balance. | No active subscription required for standalone packs or credit-based generation. |
| First payment | Check current plan and pack prices at Higgsfield checkout. | Minimum balance top-up: $5 USD. This is not the price of one video. | Smallest current pack: $7.90 for 220 credits. This buys a balance, not one video. |
| Cost per edit | Website credits, subject to the selected model and plan rules. | US dollars at the endpoint’s published rate and settings; preview the request estimate. | Credits at your current server quote, based on task, model, duration, resolution and preparation. |
| Model access | A credit pack adds credits; it does not unlock extra models or features. | The official catalog lists Genjutsu Object Swap and Motion Transfer. Check each endpoint’s supported inputs. | Independent provider routes shown in this editor. No claim of the official Genjutsu model or identical results. |
| Balance validity | Extra credit packs: 90 days from purchase. Other grants have their own rules. | Funds expire one year after they are added. | Current standalone packs have no scheduled expiry. Subscription and promotional credits have separate validity. |
| Renewal and top-ups | Credit packs do not auto-renew; the underlying subscription is billed separately. | Auto top-up is optional. Review its setting in the API billing console. | Packs do not renew or refill automatically. Optional monthly and annual subscriptions renew until cancelled. |
| How you use it | Higgsfield’s visual website interface; access follows your plan. | Separate API account and key, with REST or SDK integration. No website plan required. | Prepare files in the browser, then sign in for upload, quote, purchase and generation. |
Official API example: Genjutsu Object Swap lists $0.318 per second of input at 480p, before applicable customer discounts. Input duration is rounded up to a whole second, so exactly 10 seconds calculates to $3.18. The $5 minimum top-up is a separate first-payment requirement. Confirm the live endpoint rate and request estimate; this is not this studio’s price.
Failure rules also differ. The official API says failed requests return their cost to its dollar balance. Here, confirmed unsuccessful steps return credits; successful preparation or generation steps may remain charged. Returning balance or credits is different from refunding a card payment.
Official public billing and model pages checked on October 12, 2026. This comparison does not certify account-level access, payment or paid output quality; current terms and quotes apply.
There is no single fixed price for every edit. The quote depends on the task, selected model, supported duration and resolution, and any reference-image preparation. Check inputs to get the current server quote, then confirm separately. Changing inputs or settings clears the old quote.
| One-time credit pack | Pack price (USD) | Credits included | Validity |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter Pack | $7.90 | 220 | No scheduled expiry |
| Creator Pack | $19.90 | 600 | No scheduled expiry |
| Studio Pack | $49.90 | 1,600 | No scheduled expiry |
These prices come from the same catalog as /pricing. You buy a pack of credits, not exactly one video. The cost per edit is the quoted credit amount; any remaining credits stay in your balance. Checkout shows the final amount and applicable taxes.
Choose a credit pack for a one-time payment. Monthly and annual plans are separate subscriptions that renew automatically unless cancelled. This service does not offer automatic credit-pack top-ups.
Downloading a completed, available result does not deduct extra credits. Resolution is chosen before generation and included in its quote. There is no separate paid HD export option in the current editor.
Confirmation reserves the quoted credits. After a confirmed failure, block or cancellation, credits for steps that did not succeed are returned; successful steps may remain charged. Cancellation is limited to queued tasks without active provider generation. A retry receives a fresh quote for remaining work, which can cost credits. An uncertain submission must be reconciled before retrying.
Add your existing video and the reference images required for your task. Choose the model and output settings; advanced controls stay optional.
Sign in, check inputs and review the quote next to the generation button. If your balance is insufficient, open the one-time credit packs and check the purchase amount before paying.
Confirm the quoted credit charge, follow task progress and review the result. Download the available output; consult task records for charged and returned credits.
Two real edits generated in the local test environment on October 8, 2026. The recorded amounts are credits deducted from the app test account, not supplier API costs or a current price guarantee. Your edit needs its own quote. These examples do not certify the production purchase-to-generation flow.
An 8-second presenter edit using one identity reference, with the original background, movement and audio retained. Basic frame and audio review passed; precise face, hand and lip-sync quality was not certified.

The official Higgsfield API runs on a separate prepaid US-dollar balance with no website subscription. Its catalog lists Genjutsu Object Swap and Motion Transfer. Register an API account, fund its balance and check the endpoint before making requests. This does not establish subscription-free access to Genjutsu in the normal website interface.
No. Genjutsu AI is an independent service, not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Higgsfield. It has separate accounts, billing, credits, provider routes and support. We do not claim to use the official Genjutsu model or provide identical outputs.
A Higgsfield website credit pack adds credits but does not unlock new models or features; purchasing one requires an active subscription. Check your plan’s Genjutsu access separately. Official API access instead uses its own model catalog and dollar balance. Neither purchase adds credits to this studio.
No. A credit pack or API top-up adds a balance. Each edit spends its quoted amount, and the remainder stays under that balance’s validity rules. Check the current pack prices in the cost section and your edit’s quote in the editor. Official API dollar rates cannot be used as this studio’s credit price.
No active subscription is required for standalone credit packs or credit-based generation. Subscription plans are an optional, separate purchase; check the product type at checkout.
No. You can prepare your edit before paying for generation, but a confirmed paid generation reserves the credits shown in its quote.
Yes, to upload media to the service, receive a server quote, purchase credits, generate and access private task results. Local file selection and parameter preparation are available before sign-in.
Yes. Select a credit pack rather than a monthly or annual plan. Each pack is a one-time payment for its stated credit allocation; buying it does not start a subscription.
Current standalone credit packs have no scheduled expiry. Subscription credits expire at the applicable paid period end; promotional credits can have their own validity. Check each grant in your credit records. Credits are service units, not cash.
Credit packs do not renew or refill automatically. Generation spends credits only after confirmation. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew according to their checkout terms until cancelled, even if you also own a credit pack.
Unsuccessful steps are returned as credits after the task reaches a confirmed terminal status. Successfully completed steps may stay charged. A timeout alone is not a confirmed failure. Credit returns are different from a cash refund; a new retry quote can include new charges.
No extra credit deduction is implemented for downloading an available completed output. Higher resolution, where supported, is a generation setting covered by the quote, not a later export upgrade.
We do not claim ownership of rights you may hold in outputs. Commercial use depends on your input permissions, applicable law and the relevant model-provider terms. Review the result and obtain any needed copyright, likeness, voice and brand permissions; a purchase does not clear those rights for you.
